I missed

this morning
and then I realise
I've 'lost' you
Fading memories
of you and me
drift out
haunting
to shut the door
behind me
Your 'mistake'
has taken me
to this moment
of despair
And I await
patiently
for all this pain
to stop
Tomorrow
I will have
to take baby steps
again
